3D model description

After a few years of being pecked by birds and tangled with trees my Windex 14 was in poor shape. However the pin and bearing on it is still good (it's a jewel needle bearing, worth keeping)

I designed this as a replacement vane system, I chopped the original vane a cm or so from the pivot each side, and this print has a cutout where you glue that stub in place into the vane. (I think the photos show this..)

After assembly you must balance this (note the solder strip clamped round it in the photos), I tried to make the design balanced but was totally unsuccessful unless I pushed the pivot ridiculously far back.

The 'glowbits' are very optional.. they were printed with a glow in the dark filament, and useful at night (the masthead light makes them shine well) simply printing in white filament would work too.
