3D model description

This is a simplified LM8UU bearing mount for DIY projects. I'm currently automating my chicken coop and using 8mm stainless steel rods to guide the door, which will be raised and lowered on a schedule.

This mount is only one piece, but you need to print two to hold your bearing. It is oriented in the correct printing direction. The holes are large enough to accommodate #8 screws or 4mm screws. The bushings I used fit snuggly, but can be removed by hand. I think if you want the bracket slightly larger or smaller, just change the scale by 1-2%.

The bolt holes print well enough without supports. I tried one with supports and one without, and you can't really tell a difference.
