#ANYCUBICGARDEN

A fun and decorative snail and slug trap I made for my garden. It is designed to easily screw onto a standard size mason or ball jar. I made the mushroom top in a way that it provides overhang and helps keep too much water from getting into the trap. I've always have loved the fairy garden look and thought this would be a quirky addition to my garden. It is designed in a that once the mason jar has been buried it looks like nothing more than a garden decoration.

I used some cheap beer in the jar and personally found success. I found mine worked best between some taller zucchini plants. This ended up working out well for me because I printed mine out of pla. This helped keep it out of the sun for the most part and has surprisingly held up well.

3D printing settings

Nozzle: 200c
Bed: 60c
Layer Height: .2
Roughly 15ish hours to print all components

I printed my mushroom body and base with supports, but a well tuned machine could do without.

I glue all the parts together with some basic super glue. I also added a few thin layers of white primer and finished it off with some acrylic paint.
