3D model description

This cover is designed to host a maximum of functionality on in a minimal space.
I am using a raspberry not only as a print server (octoprint) but also to switch on and off the power supply for the printer (230V).
for this I need
- a separate 5V Power supply to keep the raspberry running independently of the printer so I decided to use the MeanWell, RS-15-5
- a relais module to switch on and off the 230V power line supplying the printer power supply. I used the 2-CH 5V AVR DSP MCU Relais Modul
- a fused C-14 power socket as in so many other power supply covers

If you now wire the the RS-15-5 directly to the socket and the printer supply through the 2-CH 5V AVR DSP MCU Relais Modul which is itself connected to the raspberry GPIO you can now control the power on and off using a soft switch in octoprint. With additional additional hardware trigger switches you can also do the switching physically on the raspberry.
Please contact me for more details about the wiring and the raspberry scripts for the full scope setup

For the assembly you have to either cut a thread in the two holes to the back of the printer power supply (M5 or M6 should work) or you just glue two M4 nuts to the inside of the holes of the power supply (like I did)

As always I included the FreeCAD model.

Caesar

PS: be careful when clipping in the RS-15-5 since the clips as somehow fragile.
