3D model description

I made this thing to help me locate points of interest when taking astrophotography images.
I found using the red dot finder works great for this but I could not find a thing to connect the camera and finder together. There are some hot shoe adapters but the stress on the shoe and the calibration did not work of me. I calibrate the camera and red dot on a distant object and its ready to go.

I used 2 number 4 x 5/8" screws to hold the "Ded Dot Adapter" to the "Scope Block" There is also a 1/4 x 20 nut and a short 1/4 x 20 bolt required to hold the camera to the adapter.
