3D model description

Features:
- Holds filament straight for easy measuring
- Easy and fast print! No supports needed
- Self-centering
- Tapered entry hole so filament loads through every time
- Fits 1.75mm filament

Procedure:
1. Install the straightener into your extruder body. The top of the tool has a groove mount that will self-center into the matching part of the extruder body. (See photo)
2. Extrude some filament through so that a small amount is showing. (See photo)
3. Use the depth end of a caliper to measure the distance from the end of the tool to the end of the filament. Zero out the caliper at this point. (see photo)
4. Extrude 100mm of filament and measure again in the same fashion. If you zeroed out the caliper at the end of step 3, it will show the amount actually extruded. Ignore the negative sign.

Now you can proceed with calculations or guess-and-check to dial in until your esteps are as accurate as you like!
