3D model description

As we kick off the new month, let's have something to help the help the bots tug along their Autopods!

The simple addon vehicle can be pulled along by any bot sporting a 5mm port on the top or rear in its alt mode, by pegging the hitch on in a similar fashion to Prime's trailer. Then simply plunk on the Autopod you wise to have towed along.

The hitch pieces and the sides of the trailer come equipped with several 5mm ports so accessories and effect parts can be easily added on as you like. Gotta have some protection for the bots mid transport too!

Coming to the underside of the trailer, there are little exhaust or connector ports in pairs on either side where effect parts or other suitable accessories can be placed too!

To complete the setup, there are two types of hitch pieces can can be pegged onto either the front or rear of the trailer - the first which was shown earlier allows connecting to bots in alt mode, which a second flat piece allows multiple trailers to be linked in a convoy fashion.

The hitches end in a c-shape and are just simply pushed into place to snap around the 5mm post in the trailer (more on this in a bit).

=== ASSEMBLY ===

The attached diagram shows how the various parts of this build go together.

The axles for the tyres have been designed with a hexagonal cross-section to make printing a little easier but these can be replaced with a 5mm plastic or other rod too.

The Trailer-Bed and Trailer-Base can optionally be aligned using 2-3 Peg pieces before gluing down. Further, it will need to have two installed Pegs in the front and rear (as shown above) for the Hitch pieces to connect to.

===

And there we have it - something to help the bots (especially the smaller ones) pull these massive Autopods along. Happy 3d printing! =)
