Akama mask WoW

Akama mask WoW 3D print model

Description

Mask of Akama’s face from World of Warcraft

This model is a wearable mask. The helmet is quite big and is meant to be post-processed. You also have to drill holes to put a string through, so it holds on your head.

Files contain pieces of the mask ready to be 3D printed and complete mask files, that are not cut into smaller pieces. They also include Akama’s full head as an object, that is not a wearable mask.

SCALE At 100% scale the helmets dimensions are: Inside width approx. 200 mm Width approx. 496 mm Length approx. 217 mm Height approx. 600 mm Wall thickness 5 mm You can scale the model according to your head measurements. It is good to make it bigger and then add cushioning to the inside for a snug and comfortable fit.

PRINTER SETTINGS As the mask is quite big, it is meant to be post-processed. We recommend a layer height of 0.2 to 0.3 mm on FDM printers. All parts are aligned to the printing platform for easy manipulation. Most of the parts need minimal or no use of printing supports to save printing time and filament. For reliable printing, we also recommend setting a brim to the masks shell parts, because of their height and low thickness. It will ensure, that the parts will not come off the printing platform during the printing process. Printing settings will vary greatly depending on your specific printer.

Do you like the model and don't have a 3D printer? There are lots of people who offer 3D printing services these days. Try searching for someone who offers them in your area.
