3D model description

This thing is a quick relese mounting plate for a Manfrotto 785B camera tripod.

3D printing settings

Updates:
2012-04-07 First version.
2012-04-08 Changes to design after new measurements. Added .scad file.

The idea is to make custom mounts to be able to use the tripod for other devices than cameras.

This is a work in progress which hasn't been tested. I haven't printed this to try out how well it fits in the tripod, I have only measured the original tripod mounting plate using a caliper and then modeled the thing from that, using OpenSCAD. Therefore there is a distinct possibility (probability...) that it will not fit the tripod without digital or physical tweaking.

So be warned, angles may be wrong etc.
