The Fallen Star cult discovered a crashed meteor covered in a fine dust that has psychotropic properties, including visions of alien entities. The Dust can fuse with organic life on Earth and generate unusual and bizarre Starspawn. Cultists themselves can use the Dust to communicate with one another, breed new life forms, or fuse with it to bring forth and avatar of the great cosmic deity, Mul-Sahar.
