3D model description

This is a design of my own called the K-211 Double Barrel Shotgun that is used with PPS style AIRSOFT shells. Airsoft double barrel shotguns are ridiculously expensive when you consider they are literally just a a spring trigger mechanism covered by a frame and barrel so I figured I'd make my own design. This boom stick has saved me hundreds of dollars and is entirely replaceable.

VIDEO FOR THE CURIOUS: https://imgur.com/a/RglgvKf

I have also included dummy shotgun shells for anyone who is interested in just having a prop gun.

Note This model/toy is not to be used with real shotgun shells, and is designed ONLY for airsoft shells and dummy shells.

You will require:
* 4x Pen springs or similar. (One for the "Extractor", one for the "Break", and one for EACH "Striker".

  • 2x 2mm diameter dowel (preferably steel or similar) appx 27mm in length to attach the left and right frame to the main frame. (See pictures for reference)

  • and of course 2x PPS airsoft shotgun shells

Pictures are included that shows BOM(Bill of Materials) and where they go.

Theres a specific order for which parts go into where first;
1. Left Frame> Front & Rear Triggers >Main Frame> Right Frame. Then attach "Housing Pin(s)" into the "Main Frame"
2. Insert spring into "Left and Right Housing", then insert "Striker"
3. Attach "Housing" assembly into the rest of the Frame.
Note: The spring inside the housings will be pushing the striker out, so it will need to be held in place as you attach the assembly into the frame.

Some sanding may be required post printing. Enjoy!

(Please check with your local fields for permission to use this airsoft gun, I am not responsible for any damages or the like, once you purchase this model it becomes your responsibility so please be careful with it and ALWAYS USE EYE PROTECTION, I will not be held accountable for any injuries.)

3D printing settings

PLA 0.16mm layer height
Print orientation is pretty straight forward.
Barrel printed along the Z axis, Main frame and frame parts printed along the X/Y axis.
Triggers, Break, Break Cover, Extractor printed along the X/Y Axis. (Try not printing out rods/posts/ and delicate parts along the Z axis as it will be prone to breaking.

The only thing I printed along the Z axis was the barrel.

Brims optional. Support required in some parts. Infill is up to you but if you'd like the model to have some nice weight I would increase infill up to 80% (costs more material, naturally.)
