Description

This is a parachute rack build for the Hotwheels Ford Bronco based on the intro of Forza Horizon 5 when the Bronco got airdrop to Mexico.

The parachute rack is based on the original artwork by Senior Concept Artist at Playground Games, Nick Foremanat ArtStation: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/OmqJy6

The rack has been further simplified to fit Hotwheels proportions and also to make it easier to print with a FDM printer. So it looks quite different from the original design. Also, my Hotwheels Bronco has been slightly modified with much bigger wheels, i'm not too sure how it looks with standard wheels. If it doesn't look right please let me know.

Parts required

There are only 2 files to print:
- Parachute rack (V9.STL)
- Parachute (Parachute1.STL)

To secure the car from falling off, I have included a thin game for wires to pass through under the wheels and rack, as seen in picture 6 above.

The connection from the rack to the parachute is connected with simple strings. Both the rack and parachute has a 2.5mm holes, so any strings or wire thinner than that should go through just fine.

Rack Print Settings (V9.STL)

Nozzle size = 0.4 mm (minimum, smaller better)
Layer height = 0.2 mm (minimum, smaller better)

Parachute Print Settings (Parachute1.STL)

Nozzle size =1.0 mm (smaller better but I use 1.0mm to save time)
