3D model description

While i have tried, and do use the other 2 available ducts for the Micro-Swiss Direct Drive units, I found that they are not the easiest to use with respect to when you need to do maintenance and are taking them off and putting back on.

I believe the housing for the Hotend fan can be fitted with a nocturna unit, but since i do not use them, it was just guesswork on fitment. The Fan Mounts are punched for using the 2.5mm brass inserts or a 3mm screw.

The model was put though MeshMixer for the tree supports and I include the bare STL and the Supported STL.

I am also including my GCode sliced in Simply3D for PETG. adjust your temps accordingly.

For the Extruder knob i am re-using the knob i printed with my last Fang Duct from Briss-Moto. I did make a mount for it to go on the top of the cooling center, which is included, also made to use brass inserts for the stub-mount. I cannot include the knob because it was not my design...I will contact Dominic and see if he will allow me to put it in my file list in the near future.

The other issue i had with the other duct systems was support for the original positioning of the BLTouch mount from Creality. This cooling center model supports using the one that comes in the box for the Ender 3 from Creality and it is fitted under the two mounting points and held in place with the same screws.

I mainly design/print functional items, and pretty much everything in PETG using overture or hatchbox filaments.

I use a Micro-Swiss Direct Drive system on a Linear Rail, and have also used it on the standard POM Wheel system along with an M2 Nozzle on the MS Hot-End...Excellent in my opinion.

3D printing settings

242 on the Hot-End and 70 on the bed. I use a thin layer of glue stick to better hold the support system used in this print. Dont let anyone tell you that using a glue stick is cheating, it is the difference between losing materials and time or a successful print (sometimes).
