3D model description

A model of the Raptor atmospheric rocket engine developed by SpaceX for the fully reusable Starship spacecraft. Designed for all space fans and SpaceX fans.

This is a modified version of the engine for the 1:48 scale Starship model, from my creation (not yet published). I have worked on the engine model for dozens of hours, and I have included a figure with this version, with an information plate. Suitable for exhibition

3D printing settings

Please keep in mind that the model contains many details and is not suitable for FDM printing (except for the base, 0.4 and 0.25mm nozzle).

Recommended SLA printing method (for example Prusa SL1S, Anycubic Photon, various versions, or printers of other manufacturers).

Resin color is optional, according to personal preference. I recommend using harder durable resins.

Layer illumination time varies depending on the type and intensity setting of the UV lamps on a particular printer. Each printer must choose the illumination time according to their experience with the particular resin they are using.

The files contain the .stl .obj .3mf and .stl formats with Prusa Slicer support.

!!! Be very careful when folding the moving joint of the model, the "Mount2" part is not symmetrical!!! It must be inserted with the correct side into the "mount" part and the assembly then into the "Raptor_engine" part. Soft resins may crack during this operation! !!!

The motor is screwed to the base with an M3x35 Allen screw.

Printed on Anycubic Photon Mono 4K, tough resin Anthracide Gray by Prusa research, layer light time 2.4s, UV intensity setting 70%...
