3D model description

Very very simple dice tray and very very useful the same time. It is 21.1 mm high and the internal diameter is 133.7 mm. I have tested it with different games and I find these dimensions very adequate.

The dimensions were adjusted to A4 format foam sheet, that can be used as a cover. This way the dice roll will be quiet.
Two 20 mm wide (and 210 mm long) stripes must be cut along the shorter edge of the A4 sheet. Then they can be used to cover the circular border of the tray from the inside (use some good glue). The circle with diameter a little smaller than 133.7 mm can be also easily cut of the foam sheet (it depends on foam sheet thickness).

I 3d printed 4 trays for 4 players and I used foam sheets in 4 colors, so each player can have their own tray during the play (e.g. Discoveries: The Journals of Lewis & Clark, Steampunk Rally, The Taverns of Tiefenthal). Sometimes one tray is enough (e.g. Railroad Ink, Seasons, Blueprints, That's Pretty Clever!, Sagrada, Origins: First Builders, Trismegistus).

I prefer this dice tray than fancy dice towers. The simple dice tray is more comfortable, quiet and doesn't obscure the view.

3D printing settings

It was 3Dprinted on Prusa MK3:
- in PLA (Plastspaw Light gold),
- No support is needed,
- layer height = 0.2 mm.
I use slightly changed default Print settings "0.15mm SPEED MK3" in PrusaSlicer.
The infill doesn't matter, because there isn't any (of course if you use 0.4mm nozzle and 2 vertical perimeters).

Printing Time: 2h19'
