3D model description

Makes a nice gift for Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, Anniversary, or just because!

This model is two roses with twisted stems in a vase. This is an original design of my own creation, partially inspired by other rose designs. The roses can be lighted or unlighted, files are included for both options. The LEDs I used are color cycling, powered by a 9v battery. The base includes a slot for the battery to stand up. The suggested switch is recessed into the base.

Additional parts needed for lighted option:
(1) Switch: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08232XVL5?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2_dt_b_product_details
(2) LED: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07W4K53GF?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2_dt_b_product_details
(1) Battery Connector: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08SL9X2YC?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2_dt_b_product_details
(3) M3x10mm machine screws
(As needed) Heat Shrink: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B098LB9LTJ?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2_dt_b_product_details
(1) 9v battery
Soldering Iron
Solder
Wire, 22awg, red and black.

Suggestions for printing and assembly:

Roses printed in any color other than white may not pass all colors of the LEDs

I have included a center support for printing the stems if needed. I had trouble getting the stems to print correctly without it. In Cura, load the stems first and make sure the model is centered. Next load the support, raise it off the bed 5mm, center it and rotate it 90 degrees to line up with the stems. Then use the Per Model Settings and select Print as support.

When wiring the LEDs, stagger the splices so that the heat shrink does not overlap, otherwise they will not fit through the stems.
