Stone Cutter Can to Stein v2

Remix of Stein 2.0 (a 12oz can to stein holder). Modified in TinkerCAD to make it resemble the Stone Cutters beer stein from the Simpsons episode "Homer the Great".

Printing: the lid has perforated supports preapplied. The mug itself, no longer requires supports. Underneath the top of the handle gets a little rough, but easily fixed with some light sanding.... or you can use the Cura plugin for targeted supports. Print at 0.2mm resolution, with 20% infill.

In the downloads:
My version is "Stone Cutter Can Stein v2.1".
The original lid and screw are included just for simplicity. "Left_Lid", "Right_Lid", and "Screw_noTEXT".

Insert a 12oz can. You can also use an unsealed can as an insert (available from micro-breweries and cideries upon request), or use tool that cuts the top off of a sealed/filled can.

I've completely redesigned the mug and lid to be a much better match to the episode (and not hit your eye glasses while drinking, by opening further). The new/updated version supports both 12oz and 16oz cans. It can also be scaled up to work with the Libbey can shaped glasses. It can also be printed in individual pieces of different color filament, avoiding the need to paint by hand. Its available here:
