3D model description

I was inspired by ScottDavidSteele over at MyMiniFactory when I found his .obj for The Space Guppy online. I decided to finally replace the Guppy with actual models of the various ships. The game designer Craig Zipse, supplied me with some other ships that were never released, I may add those later. Yeah, Craig Zipse, I'll do some name dropping here.

I've also modified ScottDavidSteele's Guppy to make the rockets match those in my design.

The base includes a 'forward-facing' arrow, to help players see facing from across the board (and also needed for 'Old Faithful' which has no facing of its own).

I've modified the Octopoid so it prints with the stand. The tentacles were a challenge.

The modified stand has an inserted direction arrow. Print the triangular arrow a different color & glue it in for forward facing.

Print the customized box, just the right size for the set of 8.

  • Edit 1-7-23 Yes! I've created the 7 additional ships. I also created some wormhole tokens... my printing had a color issue so the wormhole chits didn't match. These are also just cooler.
