3D model description

A 1/6th scale 3D model of the BC 1361 switchbox, which was used in many tanks and armored vehicle communication systems during WW2. This switchbox allowed a crew member to plug in his headset/throat microphone and control whether a crew member could simply listen, or also talk to other crew members.

3D printing settings

Stl file rotated for best print quality. Note OD green filament is recommended. As all communication kit components were used in open and closed vehicles they were always painted green to protect crews from detection in open vehicles. The switches should be painted chrome silver; hexagonal connectors were most frequently brass and the plastic rotating knobs were made from black plastic. All of my models have been test printed on a PRUSA i3 MK3 filament printer.
