3D model description

Mounts, hinges and wheel inserts for 1/8 DeLorean model to correct the wheel height in hover mode to better reflect what was seen in film.

Due these components taking full weight of vehicle if in standard driving mode, some resins may be too brittle. Only tested via Shapeways Versatile Plastic to date, so recommend verifying weight/loading capacity of chosen print method. See instructions for additional strengthening options as well. Additionally, wheel inserts were designed to work with replacement wheel set by Oregon Studios. May also work with stock hubs, but untested.

Model only includes front/rear mount box, front/rear hinges, and front/rear wheel inserts. Does not include rest of DeLorean or flight circuits.

Please see instructions located below before attempting to install. Requires significant modification to baseline 1/8 DeLorean model.

Tolerances were based around Shapeways versatile plastic and may need slight tweaking depending on FDM//resin used.
