Eleni’s Easter Egg with Rabbit is a decorative egg with a screw off bottom. This would make a nice decoration for Easter for your holiday table celebration. This egg can also be used to contain a gift for someone.

Since the egg is hollowed out with a screw off bottom, you can storage items within the egg. Do not store any food or hazardous materials. Do not put any liquids into the egg. The larger the egg, the greater the storage capacity.

Ideas:

It may be nice to create several sizes of Eleni’s Easter Egg with Rabbit.

You can hand paint the parts of the design to make the pop out.

You may also wish to prop up the eggs using a stand that displays your eggs at different heights.

You can use any PLA filament. Since this is a decorative egg, you might be inclined to select a silk filament.

This is one of those items that would make a nice gift for someone. We have received a lot of positive comments regarding Eleni’s Easter Egg with Rabbit.

You can always scale Eleni’s Easter Egg with Rabbit to larger size. Just scale the egg proportionally not to distort the egg’s shape.

If you make the egg large enough you can even store items inside. Perhaps it can be used to contain a gift for someone.

15% infill
Top and Bottom of the Egg – no supports

NOTE: THERE WILL BE A THIN LAYER OF EXTRA MATERIAL AT THE BASE COVERING THE SCREW THREADS AT THE BOTTOM OF THE TOP PORTION OF THE EGG. YOU CAN REMOVE IT EASILY WITH A CUTICLE SCISSOR OR A SCRAPPER. THE CUTICLE SCISSOR WORKS BEST! THIS EXTRA MATERIAL IS PART OF THE THREAD ASSEMBLY AND MUST BE REMOVED TO BE ABLE TO SCREW AND UNSCREW THE BOTTOM PORTION OF THE EGG INTO THE TOP PORTION OF THE EGG. IF YOU DO NOT REMOVE THIS EXTRA MATERIAL, YOU WILL SEE THAT THIS EXTRA PIECE OF MATERIAL IS BLOCKING ACCESS TO THE SCREW THREADS. AFTER CLEANING THE EXTRA MATERAL, SCREW THE BOTTOM INTO THE TOP MULTIPLE TIMES UNTIL IT SCREWS AND UNSCREWS EASILY.
