3D model description

When the city is under attack by a massive kaiju Tortoise, it's up to the Highly Armed Rabbit Exo-force, or H.A.R.E for short, to get on the counter-attack. Thumper is their premier Melee unit. with carrot-powered rocket punches and maneuverable ear-fins, this robo-rabbit means serious business. Will this highly maneuverable prototype suit be able to defeat the looming threat? Or will slow and steady really win the race? Coming this Easter: The Tortoise Vs the H.A.R.E.

Ok, in all seriousness, this project was a lot of fun and I'm glad I was able to get it done in time. Hope you guys have as much fun printing it as I did making it! If you make it and paint it please post pics!

3D printing settings

Each file is just for the right side. Mirror each object on your slicing software to get both sides.

The ball joints are gonna be really tight fresh off the printing bed. I recommend sanding the pegs down before inserting to get the perfect tight fit, especially if you're planning on painting it. If you insert the joints and they're still loose, I recommend putting a few drops of super glue into the joint and continuously moving it around till it drys. Also, hollowing some of the pieces out in your slicing software should make the pieces lighter and easier to hold up.

If you have access to clear resin or filament like I did, then you can print the standard Thumper_Torso along with Thumper _Visor to get a cool detailed cockpit effect. If not, then you can just print Thumper_Torso_Simple which has the visor already added.

If you're using resin, then I suggest using abs-like resin for the best results.
