3D model description

Here is a series of designs to print your own elastomers for the brake pedal (designed on DC1 from DC Simracing Pedals).

They are 21mm in diameter by 40mm long.

*Actualización*

-30mm DC3 models have been added.

*Update 2*

-File with final designs sold by us has been added. Included are 40mm and 20mm sizes for all the combinations you may need.

The idea is simple, the more revolutions of the slot the more travel they are going to allow or compression.

It's also going to depend on the print profile and the hardness of the material you use.

The profile I leave below is for Smartmaterials3D TPU. If you use a softer one you will have to increase the padding.

The design includes some improvements over the original that result in smoother movement for longer periods of time.

These are the basic models, with the numbers representing the travel they allow, the larger the number the more travel it allows, thus, softer pedal.

It is highly recommended to have a direct print printer, if you use Bowden it reduces the speeds.

If you want me to print the full set for you, because you don't have a printer, you can write me on Twitter (@ThingsSim) or over here.

When you buy the file you have the right to print a complete set, if you want to commercialize it you should pay a license for each set. This way you encourage further sharing at these prices.
