3D model description

Dice Tower made in the shape of one and only Big Ben!*

The print is divided into two parts so standard 3D printers could easily print them. Easy to assembly, print in place with no supports! Its big enough for all normal dice sizes, including regular D20. Enjoy the ringing sound when the dices falls through!

  • The Tower is officialy named Clock Tower, renamed in 2012 to Elizabeth Tower and "Big Ben" is only the name for the biggest bell in that tower, but hey, nobody cares and everyone is calling it Big Ben anyway, so get on with it :-D

3D printing settings

SIZE
142 x 72 x 221 mm
(72 x 72 x 412 mm after assembly)

PRINTING TIME
1 day at 40 mm/s and 0,2mm layer height

INFILL
Just basic structural infil is enough to support the stairs in the lower part, I recommend 10% Rectalinear. Two perimeters are sufficient.

BRIM
I recommend using brim, as simple geometric shapes usually tends to warp from the bed.

SUPPORTS
No supports needed, but if your printer have problems with creating overhangs, mabye put some supports in the upper opening, as it is a circle.

RESIZE
I do not tested downsizing the model for example for Prusa Mini (only 180mm height), but my gues is that it will be OK with regular dices. Not sure about D20. Upsizing should be OK, as the model is more detailed than needed.
