3D model description

Got a rifle that needs a little more support in the rear, but constantly forget to grab your rear bag when heading to the range? Well, congrats on having the exact same problem as me. Modeled after the Magnetospeed GripPod system (which has now been discontinued), you can print your own monopod that travels with the rifle. If it can bolt on a standard AR15 pistol grip, thisll probably work

While the design can be entirely 3d printed, a 3d printed screw probably wont hold up to the recoil of most rifles, and its highly recommended that you use a metal screw. Unfortunately, to keep the foot of the monopod non-rotating, a length of threaded rod with a keyway cut into it is needed. I have no idea if this is available commercially, ive got a mill so i made my own. I advise that you make friends with a machine shop, or try the printed screw and see if it works

3D printing settings

Recommended to be printed in something strong and stiff. I made mine from ASA, which has held up fairly well at 60% infill and 4 walls
