3D model description

One of the great things about 360 cameras is using the stitch line to make selfie sticks invisible. One of the annoyingly stupid things about the One-R, was using a GoPro mount which made it very easy to mount at an angle, thus ruining the invisible effect.

I've seen a few attempts to remedy this, but they all had their downsides. I thought, "I'll design one myself, how hard can it be?". Well, I can tell you, Insta really did a great job of making it as hard as possible to fix this problem that they created.

But, dozens of iterations later, I think I finally have something which is 99% perfect. It's easy to use, it works with just about everything, and it's fairly robust. It's symetrical, so there's no "wrong" way, it even has ridges to make it easy to remove with cold wet hands.

I think it looks a bit like a retro toaster.

3D printing settings

You'll want support for the bottom (touching buildplate), but that's it.

For strength, I'd suggest 3-4 walls, and fairly high infill, I do 100% for the weak section - about 2.5mm to 7.5mm from the bottom.

Should print in 1-2 hours.
