3D model description

The battery pack was designed for my colleague in order to fit in the compartment of his son's rc toy car. The main requirement of this design was to be able to put 4 pices of rechargable Ni-MH battery with higher capacity in order to extend the working time of rc car and to be able to take out separately each battery for recharing using ordinary 4 slots battery charger (he wanted to avoid spending money on special microprocesor charger). The second goal was to fit this battery pack into very limited space of toy's battery compartment.

The model contains two printable parts from PLA which are assembled together using 4 pcs. of M2 screws with nuts. Additionaly there are slots in order to be able to put meatlic steel tape for spot welding. The batteries in this design were series connected (2600 mAh capacity each) in order to obtain 6V.

My PLA printing in CURA settings:
- printer: creality ender 3 pro
- print quality: standard 0.2 mm
- infill: 20%
- printing temperature: 230 deg.C
- buildplate printing temperature: 60 deg.C
- print speed: 60 mm/s
- fan speed: 80%
- wall thickness: 0.4 mm
