3D model description

This is simply a spacer to move your CR Touch (or BL Touch or other Auto Bed Leveling probe with the same screw footprint) 2mm further down. I made it because my CR Touch's activation point was very close to being above the nozzle on my Creality Ender 3 (which could cause the hot end to crash into the bed while probing for Z). You probably don't need this print unless your Z offset is less than 0.5 mm. And of course, if adding this spacer makes the tip of the probe lower than the nozzle even when the probe is stowed/retracted, then you shouldn't use it.

You use this at your own risk and I don't guarantee its effectiveness or safety. It's up to you to determine whether this will help you. But if you're like me and need some extra space, hopefully this will help.

To install it, simply put it between the CR Touch and the mount as pictured. The screws included with the CR Touch should be long enough to hold everything to the mount securely.

After installing it you must reset your probe-to-nozzle Z offset. You will end up subtracting about 2 mm from your current offset(this is usually negative math, so if you're starting with -0.25, your new value will probably be around -2.25.) If you don't know how to determine and set the correct offset, you should probably research the process before installing the spacer.

It only takes a few minutes to print, so I suggest printing with high infill for stability. No supports or raft should be needed, although you could add a brim if the print keeps slipping off or warping. Printing in any material should be fine.
