3D model description

When you have to hike 8 miles from your rustic campsite to where the bears your photographing are, the last thing you want to discover once you get there is that you've only got dead camera batteries with you. You also don't want to lug every single battery you own with you when you're hiking 8 miles each way!

Thus was born the "Is this battery dead?" box. This box, with 1, 2, 3 or 4 slots has a reversible slide lid with the full battery symbol on one side and the dead battery symbol on the other. Simply pop your battery in and slide in the top with the appropriate side up and never be confused about which batteries need to be charged again!

You'll need to measure your battery/batteries and adjust the size of the compartment before you slice. The slots are completely straight so that the battery doesn't bounce around or get stuck under a ledge or lip.

There's also a blank lid included in case you've got two other conditions you need to keep track of. You can just add your own text or symbols before printing.

Make sure that when you resize your boxes, you group your lid/s and resize them the same percentages.

I made these on my single extruder FlashForge AD3. For the two color lids, just code in a pause half way and swap colors.

In the (rather unlikely event) that you're printing this for the exact same camera I use, the boxes download sized for a Canon 77D camera battery (LP-E17).
