3D model description

This template will be useful if you wish to use ICKO fasteners (references DG420 or DG421) on your hive, between board and hive body or between body and top.

https://www.icko-apiculture.com/fixe-elements-pour-ruche.html

DG420 : pack of 2 (6 galvanized screws and 2 stainless steel wires)

DG421: pack of 30 (90 galvanized screws and 30 stainless steel wires)

These fasteners allow you to secure your hive elements together, for example to move your hive as a single unit, or to ensure its safety, for example when transporting it by car.

Three screws need to be fitted at precise intervals, so that the curved rod exerts sufficient force to bring the elements together. A slight misalignment makes it difficult, if not impossible, to remove the fastener by finger force alone.

The distances between the holes in this jig create the right level of pressure to make the elements join, while remaining flexible enough to remove it. Using this template, all your fixtures will be installed identically: simply align the horizontal axis traced on the template with the separation between elements and mark the screwing points (see photo).

-o-o-o-

This template will be useful if you want to use ICKO brand fixing elements (references DG420 or DG421) on your hive (tray, deep bee hive box, shallow bee hive box)

https://www.icko-apiculture.com/fixe-elements-pour-ruche.html

DG420: bag of 2 (6 galvanized screws and 2 stainless steel wires)

DG421: bag of 30 (90 galvanized screws and 30 stainless steel wires)

These hive staples make it possible to fix the beehive elements between them.

For example to move your hive in one piece or to ensure its safety, for example during transport by car.

Three screws must be screwed in at a precise spacing, so that the curved stainless steel rod exerts sufficient force to join the elements. A slight misalignment makes the closure complicated or even impossible to remove with the force of the fingers alone.

The distances of the holes in this template allow you to create the right level of pressure to join the elements, while remaining flexible enough to remove it. Using this template, all your fixed elements will be placed identically, just align the horizontal axis drawn on the template with the separation between elements and mark the screwing points (see picture).
