3D model description

Purpose

This project is in response to the mountain of parts I keep collecting. So much so, that I’ve now filled four different categories of parts, I have now created a carousel, that will hold all of these, allowing a stepper motor to turn a platter, on which the containers sit..

Main Components:

The major components that make this project work are;

1/ An Arduino Mega 2560 (you could also use a due, which would run faster)
2/ A 3.95 inch (RED) touch screen display
3/ A4988 Stepper Driver
4/ My board design for Power Supply & relay
5/ 608zz bearings (skateboard wheels) for the carousel to rest on
6/ Springs to allow the carousel to maintain a level base for containers
7/ A stepper motor Nema17 x 39mm (approx 1.5 Amp per phase) I used 17HS15-1504S-X1 Nema 17 Stepper Motor 45Ncm
8/ NJC5002c Hall-Effect (magnet) sensor

This is my fifteenth 'Thing', & also my fifteenth 'Fusion 360' design.
