3D model description

Entrance door with filtering for any type of Dadant 6-frame hive.

It is particularly suitable for hives where the width of the entrance door is greater than 220 mm, and for which commercially available metal entrance doors leave unwanted gaps.

This is for example the case of this hive for which the manufacturer does not have a suitable entrance door:

And this version with access filtering by individual doors.

The height of passage is 5.5 mm which blocks predators and leaves free passage to all the occupants of the hive.
A reinforcement is present at the bottom to prevent bending when the temperature rises.
The fixing is carried out by two screw eyebolts which block the door in its position.

Elle est plus particulièrement adaptée aux ruchettes dont la largeur de la porte d'entrée est supérieure à 220 mm, et pour lesquelles les portes d'entrée en métal disponibles dans le commerce laissent des espaces indésirables.

La hauteur de passage est de 5.5 mm qui bloque les prédateurs et laisse le passage libre à tous les occupants de la ruche.
Un renfort est présent en partie basse pour éviter la mise en flexion lorsque la température s'élève.
La fixation s'effectue par deux pitons à vis qui bloquent la porte dans sa position.
