3D model description

A very handy mechanical retractable eraser which alows you to highlight all your details...
I hope you will like it and will find a place in your office/pencil case :)

Mechanical eraser consists of:

  • 5 printed parts
  • Ø1 mm wire/pin, 9 mm long (I used welding wire)
  • Eraser refill Ø2,3mm (from Aliexpress - link below)

3D printing settings

Printing doesn't require any supports, you can print in 0,2 mm layer height. For better smoothness of the movement, you can print transparent part from picture with 0,1mm quality.

The biggest part contains some reinforcements implemented in the design, which needs to be removed after printing - be sure that grooves are free of them, to ensure they wont block the movement of the pin. To make it perfect, you can use fine sandpaper or file too... Assembly video available...
