3D model description

Simple design for a modular Savonius blade on an 8mm rod. it is designed to printed then used with the face that was on the printer bed pointing upwards. Use the same file repeatedly to have them fit together.
The pieces can be glued together for extra strength. So far, I have only had to use a rubber mallet to get the pieces together. You can use the screw holes to hold together each half while gluing. Only use a small about on glue by dotting it on the two prongs towards the inside of the model on each side. then clip together. make sure you have the pieces lined up so the top and bottom are flat.
The files with M on the end are mirrored versions. They will rotate in a counter direction to each other.
I recommend around 8 pieces making up 4 layers.

3D printing settings

Make sure the first couple of layer is slow to help with adhesion. Also keep the fan off or very low for the first few layers to avoid the middle bit from lifting from the plate.
I have only printed using a 25% infill and a gyroid infill.
I have tested using Cura 4 and 5, the ones using 5 came out much better. I would recommend using it if you can.
I printed with an 0.4 nozzle, a minimum wall line width of 0.24mm and wall width of 0.48 mm. However feel free to see what works for you.
