3D model description

I converted my YakGear outrigger in to motorized but this upgrade is compatible with most outrigger on the market including the DIY outriggers

Parts required to convert your existing

2060 Aluminum extrusion profile ( the length and the mounting screws all depends on your kayak and you will need to figure that on your own)

  • 2 1/4" bolt with nuts 3/4" long
  • 16 screws M4 16mm long
  • 16 T slot Nuts M4
  • 2 Linear actuator 4" or 100mm Stroke and minimum of 500N or greater
  • 2 loop Pin 3/8" 3" long
  • 2 loop pin 1/4" 3" long

Parts For DIY
all the above parts
2 pontoons or flouts
2 aluminum tubes or EMC 1" OD ( some people use PVC piping but I do not recommend PVC )
2 mount parts that aloud u to mount the pontoon into the Arm tube

3D printing settings

print all the parts X2 with 100% Infill
filament: ASA,ABS, PETG, CFPC, PC, NYLONE, PP
I printed my own set with polycarbonate (PC)
