3D model description

I got tired of things always floating in my pool and not wanting spend the big bucks on a skimmer I decided to make my own!

Utilizing a few slices off of a pool noodle it has been working flawlessly to keep bugs and grass clippings out of my pool.

The hose adapter included fits a hose with a 37 mm inside diameter or a 31mm outside diameter but would be easy enough to make different sized hose adapters depending on your needs. I made this part separate to make it easy to adjust if needed, once the right size fitting is made it is hot glued in place.

Also included is an Intex pool screw on adapter for the hose I had with a 38mm outside diameter which again would be easy enough to modify depending on what you need.

The float pods have 3 height adjustment settings to fine tune the height of the skimmer in your pool.

Printed in PETG with no supports.

Things to consider:
The hoses you have may not work with the fittings, these fit an old vacuum hose I had laying around but very basic CAD would be easy to make fittings that would.
My pump has a built in skimmer basket, debris could be an issue for pumps.
