Slug Bug Fishing Lure Mold

This is another weird small creature type bait that designed called the Slug Bug. The finished lure is about 3.25" long and is designed to be fished on a jig head.

I wanted a small open pour mold that I could just use up small batches of plastisol left over from making other baits. This mold is an open pour type mold but is a little unique in that it does require vents in the bottom for it to pour correctly. These vents may need to be drilled out after printing depending on your print settings.

I print this mold in PLA+ with the following settings
(You'll have to experiment with what works best for you.)

Layer Height = .10mm
Top Solid Layers = 10 to 15
Bottom Solid Layers = 3
Outline/Perimeter Shells = 5
Supports = Not Needed
Infill = 25%
