3D model description

I love skulls, being an aged rock fan and lamp prices are ridiculous, so, I made this.

(PLEASE NOTE... I Airbrushed this lamp to make it look the way it does, you cannot print it to look like this, it prints as a blank canvas, leaving you to throw your artistic skill at it)

This skull has been adapted and created to make it into a lamp.
It has been sliced into two halves with holes to insert dowels, to allow accurate bonding of the two halves.

The top of the skull has a 10mm thread in it to allow a 10mm adapter to be screwed in and the a lamp fitting added to it. (The lamp fitting in the images IS NOT the one that fits) The larger, less evil looking skull IS NOT THIS THE ONE THAT THESE FILES PRINT, (it is here to show you what kind of lamp fitting, fits onto the 10mm adapter).
The holes through the eyes, are for 10mm Neon indicators. I live in the UK so I got 240v indicators and connected them to the lamp circuit.
I used this kit (https://www.lampspares.co.uk/wooden-base-lamp-kit-8-with-antique-brass-un-switched-lampholder/)
To make the lamp.

The neon indicators just push in from the front and lock in.

The indicators can be wired any way, so long as there is a live and neutral to each of them (Switched through the switch, if preferred)

3D printing settings

Print these parts the way they are orientated, for ease of bonding.
Use 15 - 20 % infill
Supports WILL be required.
I printed in PLA but there is no reason why it cannot be printed in PETG or ABS

Set your bed temps and nozzle temps accordingly.
