Populate your tabletop gaming with the Hectatrex creature from Sol'Kesh.

"A curiously feather-fringed avian head peers over tall grasses that rise from the plains like waves in an ocean. These lone hunters, use their height to survey the wide expanse of their domain for spotting prey scampering in the dry stalks, the prowl of larger, more fearsome predators, and the brightly colored hard-shelled nuts that grow in the lofty meadowstone trees. With a long stride on wide clawed feet, the hectatrex bounds over the flat landscape evading predators and chasing down prey with ease, only being caught unaware in the wane hours of the day as their sight is not well suited to low light conditions. Though often found alone, during the spring season a male and female bird will alternate protecting their nest and chicks that they conceal in grass woven warrens."
