3D model description

I needed an adapter to create a new air intake for my Citroen Jumpy van so I designed designed this set of adapters for various sizes of fitment. Use the parts to make yourt own intake.

The photos show the 76 mm maf adapter on the typical MAF from these engines and the 180Β° tube installed in the bay of my Citroen Jumpy van. I have tested the fitment on the MAF from both my Citroen Jumpy and Volvo V50, both with 1.6 HDI engines.

I recommend pre-drilling the screw holes to 4 mm before installation if 5 mm screws are used as the holes can end up undersize after printing.

mafadapter01.stl - This is a 180Β° pipe that connects to the MAF at the stock location on many of these engines and allows connection for a front mounted filter. I use this on my van to eliminate the idiotic rear mounted filter box behind the engine and installed a cone filter down behind the bumper instead.
mafadapter02.stl - This is an adapter to connect 63 mm (2,5") tubing or filter to the MAF.
mafadapter03.stl - This is an adapter to connect 76 mm (3") tubing or filter to the MAF.
filteradapter01.stl - A short piece to convert from 63 mm (2,5") to 76 mm (3").
filteradapter02.stl - A long tube with a bend that goes from 63 mm to 76 mm. For general use. I used this on my Jumpy van to route the intake down and to the left side of the car in the area in front of the left front wheel arch.
filteradapter03.stl - A bracket that fits over the 76 mm end of the above tube with CA glue for mounting. I used this on my Jumpy van.

3D printing settings

Use a heat resistant material. I like GreenTEC Pro Carbon as it prints without warping and can handle up to 160Β°C in some examples.

Print with 3 perimeters and at least 20% infill with 6 top and bottom 0,2 mm layers.
