3D model description

Replace your Pierburg 1B / 2B carburetor with Weber 32/36 DGV to get better performance from your BMW M10 engine on your BMW E21, E28, E30 etc. No sharp edges on the inside of the adapter and matching openings provide better airflow than any of the generic adapters available on the market.

Could be theoretically adapted to Weber 38/38 by enlarging the carburetor openings slightly.

STEP file is to be CNC milled from Aluminum. Tap M8 threads on the outer holes to attach the carburetor. Attach the adapter to the original intake manifold using M6 nuts.
When CNC milling from a solid block, the workpiece has to be milled from one side, turned around and re-mounted by the narrower half of the model. (carburetor side) Then, the rest can be milled.

Use paper seals between the carburetor, adapter and the manifold.

3D printing settings

The adapter printed from PACF worked for some time but in the end, I ended up having it CNC milled from aluminium and used only a PACF printed spacer to isolate the carburetor from heat. The spacer was made by cutting the adapter STEP file in PrusaSlicer and modifying it there.
