3D model description

Designed for a HEMA (Historical European Martial Arts) group, in conjunction with Storm's Forge (facebook.com/stormsforge). This is a simple rondel-style dagger, with rounded edges for training and light sparring. It was designed to have a 1/4" dowel or steel rod down the center for added strength. I also included 4 different hilt variants, so you can customize it to your liking.

Since it's all safe and rounded, it could also be used for cosplay.

3D printing settings

This was designed strictly for FDM printers, since resin is generally to brittle to take the impacts of sparring. For best durability, print the parts horizontally, so the "grain" of the layer lines goes along the blade. It will be less likely to snap along the layers that way. I STRONGLY suggest using a reinforcing rod of 1/4" steel, although a wooden dowel will work.
