Description
Rajasaurus narmadensis is an extinct theropod dinosaur that existed during the Late Cretaceous period, approximately 70-66 million years ago.
This dinosaur was discovered in the Narmada River Valley in central India, giving it its specific epithet "narmadensis." Rajasaurus was a medium-sized predator, measuring around 25 feet in length.
Its most distinctive feature was the presence of crests and horn-like projections on top of its skull, which gave it a unique appearance.
These cranial ornaments likely played a role in communication or species recognition. As a theropod, Rajasaurus was carnivorous, feeding on other dinosaurs and small prey.
