Leopard 2A Collection

This set contains three tanks, all built on the basis of the Leopard 2A body:

Leopard 2A6:

The Leopard 2A6 is a German main battle tank of the Bundeswehr. It is considered the successor to the Leopard 1 and was built around 3600 times.

Its first deployment was in the KFOR during the Kosovo war.

Its main armament is a 120mm smoothbore cannon with 42 rounds.

About the model:

The STL files include several print options of the Leopard 2A6, all of which are based on a scale of 1:100.

2000 self-propelled howitzer:

The Panzerhaubitze 2000 is a self-propelled armored artillery gun built on the basis of the Leopard hull and produced by Rheinmetall.

It was deployed in Afghanistan and is currently being used by the Ukrainian army.

About the model:

The STL files include several print options of the Panzerhaubitze 2000, all of which are based on a scale of 1:100.

The gun is height-adjustable and can be adjusted downwards/upwards by means of a joint.

Armored recovery vehicle 3 Buffalo:

The Bergepanzer 3 "Büffel" is a German armored recovery vehicle, which was built on the basis of the Leopard hull and is produced by Rheinmetall.

The Büffel armored recovery vehicle has already been deployed in Afghanistan and is still part of the Bundeswehr today.

About the model:

The STL files include several printing options of the Bergepanzer 3 Büffel, all of which are based on a scale of 1:100.

The crane is height-adjustable and can be moved up and down by means of a joint. (See picture 4)

The hook can be attached to the crane using a small cord/rope.

Leopard 2A6:

Test models were printed with 0.12mm layer height, but other layer heights can also be tried out.

With a layer height of 0.12mm, the Leopard 2A6 was printed in about five hours with an Ender-5.

Supports are needed for the hull of the tank, for the rear part of the turret and for a small part of the tracks.

Filling does not matter, from 5% the model should be stable enough for tabletop use.
