3D model description

My Heaterdoors are Broken and i have no time to Buy the Replacment Kit so hear is my Try ;-)

I dont know if its Strong enough, maybe it Brakes earlier then the Original Heater Doors.

If my Print works, i try to Write my Expierence.

Edit: 9/11.

The Hole for the Motordriveshaft dosnt fit, I think the Hole/Shaft betwen the Doors its to thigt.

First Test over ca.2000km:

The Doors in ASA+ Works fine, the most Time are the Doors Closed on Cold, round about 2-3cm Distance to the Heater withe ~90°C. But my Printet Pin is Drocken, my Fault Wrong Print & Wrong Material ;-)

Edit 9/24.

V4 a little more Space for the Driveshaft (+0,25mmØ)

Since my heater flaps are broken and I don't have time to wait for the replacement flaps, I made a quick design of the flaps.

I have no idea if the flaps work. possibly they break earlier than the Orginal heater flaps.

If my print works, I'll try to share my experience here (and in the Jeep forum).

Edit 9/11.

The hole for the adapter of the motor does not fit, I think that the hole/axle between the two flaps is too narrow.

when my new print is completed, I'll adjust it again.

First test over approx.2000km

The flaps work super in ASA+, they were now mostly set to Cold, so they were about 2-3cm above the heat exchanger with ~90°C. However, my pin is broken, that was my mistake: printed in wrong position and in wrong material ;-)

Edit 24.9

V4 A little more space for the drive shaft (+0.25mm Ø)
