3D model description

[English]

I was enjoying 3D printing with SOVOL SV06 with Klipper, but since it got hotter, layer shifting of X-axis and Y-axis started to occur frequently. I tried various things, such as lowering the run_current value of the TMC2290 of printer.cfg and tight the belt, but they couldn't solve the problem.

At that time, I found a post on reddit r/Sovol.

https://www.reddit.com/r/Sovol/comments/117tchr/is_the_mcucpu_cooling_fan_really_tied_to_the_part/

He said the mainboard fan of SV06 is linked to the parts cooling fan! OMG

When I print PETG with a bed temperature of 90C and a part cooling fan of 30% in a room of 35C, the lack of cooling make the stepper motor driver in an abnormal working condition.

So, I connected the mainboard fan to the fan connector that always outputs 24V, then the problem was solved.

  • Connect two cables with ferrule terminals at both ends to the fan connector and two WAGOs.
  • Two cables that connected to fan connector connect to the two WAGOs.
  • Cut off the JST-XH connector (male) of the fan, connect two cables with ferrule terminals and solder, protect it with a heat shrink tube, and connect it to two WAGOs.
