Golden spiral

The golden spiral is a logarithmic spiral associated with the geometric properties of the golden rectangle.

1,1,2,3,5,8,13,21,34,55,89,144,233,377...

The golden ratio has been assigned many different definitions and names throughout history.

If we review old texts, we can find references and denominations such as the golden number, the golden number, the golden number, the phi number (not pi number), the golden section, the golden measure or the divine proportion.

The discovery of this proportion or number caused quite a stir in the sciences and the arts. Moreover, it has obsessed artists, designers, architects, and all kinds of professionals in search of visual perfection, for centuries.

The golden spiral, is a very beautiful, useful and interesting geometric shape, which we can find all over nature.

Which can be useful to us both artistically and architecturally.

For many years, I have been studying and using this spiral to give shape to my paintings and drawings, however, I always did it in a very rustic and disproportionate way, since I had to make a calculation on paper to obtain this shape.

Thanks to 3D modeling, and 3D printing, I was able to extract this shape into a single object, to be used as a drawing tool, and as a working scheme.

The 3D model is really simple to print, and can be scaled to different sizes, to get different versions of the same spiral.

Let your imagination run wild, and see all you can do with such a simple, and at the same time, complex shape....
