3D model description

Okay, I've only been at this a couple weeks. I really appreciate the ideas and creativity on this site. Anyway, I want to print ABS and need an enclosure. Chris Riley did a great Youtube video on this but I have two problems with the enclosure. First, mine would be placed on my desk and I don't want the extra height, and second I don't like the lack stability. What I have done is remove the lower legs and just used the upper enclosure and the lower table top as a base.

In order to mount the PSU I remixed parts of two PSU holders from kilodeltakilo and azaletel. I mounted them on the side of the base with the PSU sitting flat on the desktop. All PSU vents are exposed but I don't know if this orientation will interfere with the PSU cooling. No extra wiring was required.

I printed the lower bracket from azaletel and the upper bracket from kilodeltakilo. The pictures should explain.

Pic 1. I cut zip ties, removed PSU wires and retied.
Pic 2. Hole drilled for bracket.
Pic 3. Bracket screwed into base.
Pic 4. Bracket need some sanding to fit.
Pic 5. Other bracket screwed in, ready for PSU.
Pic 6. PSU installed without enclosure.
Pic 7. Mostly finished.

Additionally, I place rubberized feet on the bottom of the base.
