3D model description

Hello world!

I'm Ivan, creator of UNLIMIT3D.

This time I present you a tool that solves a typical problem in the extruders of Artillery printers and thus improves the quality of the prints remarkably.

Specifically I am referring to the Artillery X1, X2, Genius and Genius Pro (they share the same type of direct extruder).

The problem with the extruder that usually occurs during machine operation lies in the trigger. It shifts to the left side, causing a loss of traction on the gear that carries the filament.

The tool allows the extruder trigger to be kept centered during extruder operation, solving the traction loss problem.

It is very easy to print on PETG.

In case you don't have PETG at your disposal, you can print it in PLA.

3D printing settings

Material: PETG (recommended) / PLA

Layer height: 0.2mm

Number of walls: 3

Nozzle diameter: 0.4mm

Filling density: 20%

Supports: Not required.

Clarification:

  • This tool was designed with the problem observed in the original trigger made of ABS in mind.

  • If you have replaced the original trigger with its metal (aluminum) version, this tool also works, as can be seen in the picture.

  • It could be printed in PLA in case PETG is not available.
