3D model description

The clip keeps the rod from unwinding and has been tested on a variety of 1.75 diameter materials, including PETG, PLA, ASA, NYLON, FLEX. It has an element for fixing the clip itself on the spool (pressed into the hole with the end).

Available in the 4 most common sizes in my opinion:

  • without mounting element (for all reels)

  • with 4 mm mounting element

  • with 5.2 mm diameter mounting element

  • with 7.3 mm diameter mounting element

For storage, mount the clip on the inner side, for the working position of the coil, press it on the outer side.

3D printing settings

My highly recommended material is PETG.

You can also get a good quality clip from other materials, but then I recommend scaling down by 1%.
